SO... THanksgiving. It was better than expected at one celebration, and slightly more boring at another. Gma A's dinner on Thanksgiving Day went better than we all expected. She may have finally let the whole wedding dramam go, however only time will tell with her. THere was one bump with her. J, being preggo, is constantly feeling nausious and that day was no exception. Her, my self, and Gma A were in the kitchen and Gma A came up behind J and smacked J's sides somewhat hard. I don't think she knows how hard her smacks can be, because even not being preggo, they hurt. J yelled a lil bit, and then ran to the bathroom to hurl yet again (she had just come out of the bathroom from hurling when Gma A did that). Other than that, it went okay. Mer and her brother Ieek were there usual handfuls, Mer not wanting to eat her food-- she actually took a finger of mashed potatoes and rubbed it into her shirt. This from a 10 year old! Ieek was better at eating his food (THey had to eat most/all of their food before they could get a roll. Usually if they eat the roll first, none of the rest of the food will get touched).
Last night was okay. Not as many of the relatives came because a handful of them were sick, and the others that were absent were either working or were waiting to see what their significant other was going to be doing after they got off work. My Aunt C was there, being her usual funny self. Sadly, the cat that I usually pet outside that's so loving and adorable, Fat Fred, died :( According to Tek, he had gotten pretty banged up after getting into a fight with another animal. Dad is either already at H's place, or is almost there. He had to go to where H lives to do a brake job on her truck. Apparently, for being one of the smarter siblings in the family, she doesn't know that much about keeping up with car maintainance! Both of their cars are crappy right now (she also has a mini cooper- i'm jealous of it bc those cars are fast and cute!) but only one of them Dad can go help with. It kinda sucks because my car might be acting up right now. I would know for sure if something was wrong with it, only Dad didn't test drive it like he usually does when I come home. So hopefully the car lasts me until I get back on either Dec. 8th or 9th, depending on when my finals are done, because school is not in the same town as him, and I don't have the money or expertise to fix my car in my dorm parking lot. He did say that if I think something is definitely worng with the car, to wait for him to get back and then I'll mostlikely be driving the Chevy back to school. Only problem is, I have a 10am class Monday morning, and he won't be back from H's til probably about 8, from what he was guesstimating. Course that could have changed, who knows. I'm hoping my car's okay. But if it's not, Grrr to the stupid roads around SSU, being all bumpy and hurting my car.
Okay, I might be able to post sometime during the next week, I might not, seeing as it will be the last week before finals. After finals, I'll try to post once a week about what's going on around home, possibly some fictional stuff as well. I'm thinking of creating another blog to that, but I'm not sure yet. Well, hope everybody's Thanksgiving went well :)
