Late nights and early mornings SUCK! I was up until around 4:30am working on a presentation that's due today (sill not done, luckily it's not due til 6pm-- today's going to be a VERY long day), and then had to be up around 8/9-ish to be up for my 10am class that i've slept through the past through classes. So, i'll probably not be the most coherent person alive today, seeing as I have to finish a good chunk of my presentation, then if there's time, add pictures of my own to the thing.
Thanksgiving is next week, and I'm still apprehensive about what's going to happen. But on much more exciting news, my sister J is going with her husband Ph, our Mom, and her mother-in-law to her ultrasound, and they're going to find out the sex of the Lil Alien (nickname for her baby, H's baby's nickname is Lil whoseit-- i didn't come up with them, but they're better than boogerbutt, lil snot, etc).
I would go to sleep early tonight, however, I need to get a decent-sized chunk on my Survey to English Lit 1 paper done. It's not due until Tuesday, however, we're having a draft workshop tomorrow, so in case she wants to look at what I have so far, it's got to have a decent-sized chunk done.
Well, off to the cafeteria for some coffee and a biscuit before class.Wish me luck :)
Update: J's having a lil girl alien!!! Dad is even more outnumbered (three daughters, now a grandaughter). He's probably hoping that H has a boy, which is a major possibility. The far-fetched hop is if I ever decide to have kids, which if that ever happens is a LONG way off.
My powerpoint presentation went okay. I had my run of the mill tongue-tied moments, but everything went good as far as I could tell.
