Hair dryers be damned!

I'm sitting here in my room, listening to the demonic sounds of the hair dryer going in the bathroom, and I'm wondering, Why the hell o you have to dry your hair in the bathroom, when your roommates not even in your f%^&ing room?

Let me backtrack for a second. I'm a college student, and share a dorm apartment with 3 other girls. I get along with the girl I room with El, but the other two I'm having "difficulties" with. I mean, one of them I share a similar class schedule with, so we're usually needing to get in the bathroom around the same time. Which i s no big deal. EXCEPT for the fact that in the morning, whether its a day we both have 10am classes or noon classes, she'll go into the bathroom to take a shower a little over an hour before class, and is still in the bathroom when there's around 5 minutes to get to class. And the even more aggravating fact in this is that the majority of that time, she's doing her hair! Maybe 15 minutes of that over an hour time span is spent with the shower running. I've had several times this semester where I haven't been able to get into the bathroom before class, and luckily had my toothbrush and toothpaste in my room, otherwise I would've had to pile on the altoids for class!

These girls (or as El and I enjoy calling them,
The Children, because even though they're 19, almost 20, they act like they're 5 most days) trash the house, let their dishes pile up until both sinks are filled, and still let them sit there. Plus, one of the rules of dorms is that we're not really allowed to have animals. We're allowed to have fish/aquatic-based animals, as long as the max sized tank we have is a 10gallon and we get the okay from the RA first. This is not the case for the animal they have. They have a black( maybe dark brown, it was semi dark in their room when I saw it from the doorway) and white guinea pig named Hennely. Now, I'm not against having animals int he dorms, in fact, my freshmen year here, we did have them. HOWEVER, there was a difference in the situation. Namely, the WHOLE HOUSE AGREED on having the animals! In the case with my current roommates, they didn't run the idea by us. We've turned them into the RA after we found out they had an animal. Call us snitches, but I don't give a damn. I'm not gonna get fined $25/$50 dollars per animal, per day for something I had no part of.

They aggravate me so much. One of them still owes me money/a box of tampons, (whichever one she gets around to giving me) because she "mistook my box as the box she had bought." THEY WEREN'T EVEN THE SAME TYPE!! It's been over a week since she said she would buy me a box the next day, and I'm still waiting. It's getting ridiculous. You can afford to buy pizza, a guinea pig and its accessories, but you can't afford something that costs around $5? Ridiculous!

Ugh, I hate to get worked up, I get too much into bitch mode when I do, and it's hard to slide out of it/not direct it at everyone.

Onto a different topic. I have another question for you all (the few/if any readers I have). Is it too picky for a girl to have a list of some sort, a compilation of some kind of what she's looking for in a guy? I mean, the guy doesn't necessarily have every single trait, but just to have the most important ones? I've been single after getting out of a 2+ year relationship, and though he was back into another relationship with his ex before two months had gone by, I'm still semi-looking for the next guy to come around. When I say "semi-looking," I mean I'm kindof on a dating hiatus for the time being. I'm not some serial dater that goes from relationship to relationship in 2.5 seconds, but it's not like I'm looking for the guy that I want to spend the rest of my life with at my age. I'm only (almost) 22 and still in college for heavens sake! If the next guy I date turns out to be in it for the long haul, then yippie skippie. But I'm not going to go out there looking for the one.

Well, I have something else I want to write about, but it can wait for another entry. Laters!
