short update

This past weekend was Maddie's blessing at their church. it wasn't really a baptism or a christening. it was kindof like a confirmation ceremony. She was adorable. the guy that was praying, she kept looking at him, like she was saying "you're a funny-looking old man." it was adorable. H and Liam were able to make it up. He was adorable as well. During the service, it seemed like it was pass the baby game, the babies kept rotating who was holding them.

I'm back at school now. It's as hectic and overwhelming as ever. I have my senior seminar paper introduction due in 90 minutes (not done yet), plus right after that, i have a group project meeting at 5, which i am not even halfway done with my part. the upside is that the rough draft is due tomorrow (not really an upside) so not EVERYTHING has to be in there yet, but i need to have the foundation if not the majority of my part done for that meeting.We got a new house mate downstairs. Haven't met her. Saw her stuff while she was moving in... a LOT of pink. Hoping no drama will ensue because of the addition.

Well, I need to get back to my senior seminar intro paper. Basically, its our topic that we've chose, the thesis statement, reasons why we chose it, definitions. He wants it to be around 2000 words (the final draft of the full paper is to be a minimum of 500 words) but he told a classmate that he'd be okay with 3 1/2 pages. I'm shooting for at least 1000 words. I'm already around 700, so if i surpass 1000, i'll be happy. The closer to 2000, the better. I fully realize though that I probably won't reach 2000, but i'll try my best.

I will try and update sometime this weekend, plus my other blog I want to add a poem I did for a class the other week. There should be a link on my profile or this page. If not, let me know, and I'll remedy that quickly. Laters :)
