unlucky with keys

I tend to be unlucky with my keys. What I mean by this, is I tend to either be distracted or just plain forget to grab my keys when I'm going somewhere. Be it getting out of my car, leaving the house, leaving the dorm for class. I've only had this happen twice where I've meant to take two bags (one with swimsuit in it, the other being my purse) and forgot the purse. Thank God I didn't get pulled over/my dad didn't notice my purse sitting in the house, otherwise I'd have been SCREWED! Anyways, I seemed to forget every once in a while my keys IN THE IGNITION or, like what has me sitting in the library typing this instead of lounging in my dorm room is me remembering just as the dorm room door latches as I'm running off to class that my keys are in my purse, in the room, rather being in my bookbag with me! My roommate isn't getting back til late today so after my 3:30-4:45 class, I have to call the MyRA hotline for our school to get someone to come unlock my door. Good thing we cleaned the room last night lol!

School is going well. There have been very little roommate squabbles between the floors, other than the trash stupidity this past weekend and being loud late at night when someone has to get up at 5:30AM. There really hasn't been that much gonig on the dorm front. On the job front, I turned in my app at Papa Johns yesterday. Thankfully since I have a friend that works there, it's a very safe bet that I'll be in the running, if not getting the in-restaurant job at Papa Johns. Plus I think the manager was flirting a little bit (dimples were whipped out on his end. He's not my type but I'm a sucker for dimples lol. Who isn't?) I should hear back in the next week or so if I'm getting an interview.

I haven't written any articles for our school paper. I'm planning on an article, though I don't know how widespread I want to go with it. I'm thinking asking professors what their favorite genre/type of books they like to read/ what their favorite author is, and then mapping it out. I may just stick with the English department, because there are a LOT of professors in that department alone. I  may even interview the dean of the arts and humanities college of the school to get his take. Who knows, I still need to run it by the editor.

I have about 45 minutes before i need to walk over to class. I have a question for you all though. I'm looking for a new ipod since my old shuffle that survived the washer and dryer is practically no more (won't hold a charge for a day even if it's used maybe for 1-2 hours at most) and the one my sister gave me (her very old nano) was zapped of battery life when I was given it is no more, I wanted to ask you this. Where is a place/website where you can order a decently priced ipod, New (non-refurbished, because I don't necessarally trust those), more than 8gb? I've looked around a little bit, and think I may have found a 16gb nano at Walmart.com, but I don't know. I want to shoot for under $200, $150 if I'm lucky, but from whatI've seen so far, most are running atleast $175 with shipping and accessories in the storage space I'm looking for.

I'll mostlikely post again in the next few days. I've got a start on my senior seminar paper. Hopefully we find out today if the professor accepted or rejected our thesis/topics that we submitted. you see, we've been having a sub professor lately because the professor that's supposed to be teaching this class has been on sick leave recovering from heart bypass surgery, and he;ll be back Tuesday. I'm wanting to do mine on Canine Bully Breeds, specifically the Pitt Bull, and the misconceptions of the breed. Hopefully he goes for it. I've heard he's a dog person, but then I've also heard he's a cat person.

Well, I better go. The guy from my senior sem class that I have a minor crush on just walked in the library. Oh, I forgot to tell you guys about him. He's around 6 feet tall, dark brown hair, thick eyebrows, brown eyes. He's built, kindof a cross between a farmboy and jock type build. He's nice, easy to talk to, the dog that he has he rescued from a shelter (brownie points for being an animal lover). He's wanting to do his paper on how gym class in school are benifitial, or the positive side of martial arts, showing that they're not bad but can be a positive force in your life instead of violent. Sadly I'm pretty sure he has a girlfriend. A girl can dream though. Well, I'll update you guys later.
