Little update all around

Well, here's an update here and there.

The first week of school went good. I ended up going home this past weekend to fill out paperwork to get a private loan for school. So, if all goes well, I'll have school covered. On top of that, a friend of mine works at a pizza place down here. The only way you get hired there once the semester starts is if you know someone already working there. So, I have a pretty good chance at getting a job on the inside of the place (no delivery driver here- i'm not knocking those that do that, just I've heard way too many horror stories about people getting mugged). The dorm I live in, after a week without any A/C  with temps outside being in the 80's, has finally gotten it fixed. I'm soooo thankful, because this redhead tends to melt when it's this hot outside! LOL.

Earl is doing MUCH better.I'm very thankful for that, because even with the parents updating the rest of us via facebook (yes, BOTH my parents have facebook accounts) I was still very worried about him possibly having Wobbler's Syndrome. Wobbler's Syndrome is something that occurs mainly in Doberman's and Great Dane's, its something about the spacing in the neck, causing the disks to pinch the spinal cord or something. I haven't looked it up, for the fact that I don't want to scare the shit outta myself. Luckily, we're pretty sure it was just a pulled neck muscle. One thing is for sure though, he's a peanut butter addict!

Well, I better get back to homework. I've got a semi early morning tomorrow, so I'm prolly going to call it a night slightly early tonight. The good thing about having to get up early most of this summer? It's helped me adjust to early classes a whole lot better.
