My apologies for being gone so long. Many things have happened since I last blogged. My oldest sister Jenni had a baby boy in May. Also, my siblings are no longer talking, which personally I blame on the hormones. Heather was on meds to help trying to get pregnant, Jenni is coming off pregnancy hormones after delivering G in May, which is when all of this started. One can only hope that this situation resolves itself, aka they put aside their crap and at least attempt to make up, for the sake of their children that used to be so close.
Another big thing that has happened in my life, is that I have not only graduated from SSU (I can't remember if I told y'all about it, but I had to retake a class, which I passed this past December) and have moved out of my parent's house. It has had it's ups and downs, but it is all starting to even out.
Recently, I have started seeing someone. He is a really great guy. We've been seeing each other a little over 2 months now. I'm trying to just let things happen, not go too overboard with the girlfriend antics, seeing as we haven't put any labels on it. I at first stressed/spazzed over this, but then I realized that we're just starting to see each other, so it's not all that important right now to pinpoint exactly what we are at this point. Now if we'd been together for over 6 months, then I would think it would be time to spaz/stress lol.
Earl, my parent's dog is having a little bit of a health issue, I recently found out. Being Lab/Dane mix, (the lab to be exact) he is subject to the possibility of the growth of fatty tumors, sometimes known of fatty deposits. One of our previous dogs, Dudley, had them since he was Lab/Corgi/Basset Hound mix. Anyway, he had one growing on a joint on his right rear foot. Dad took him in today since he started to have issues putting weight on in, which is definitely bad for him since he loves running and playing ball in the backyard. Anyway, so Dad took him in today. They knocked him out and drained it, giving Dad instructions to not let Earl play ball for 2 WEEKS,which in Earl's world is a lifetime. After two weeks, he has a follow-up on his foot. I stopped by and saw him (and to pick up something my Mom left me). He was pacing with a ball in his mouth, whining. The spot that they drained was swelling, which grossed me out, but he was able to put weight on his foot/leg, which is good.
Well, I should start wrapping it up, since I have to get up early in the morning for another day of training at my new job. I do morning shift training for the month of August, then starting September 10th I start my regular shift, which is 2:30-11 most weekdays with a weekend morning shift, which is much more to my liking. I will try to post more often. This should be more feasible since I'm on my own now.
Good night :)
